A mousse-have recipe, even if we do say so ourselves. If you’re looking for something a little lighter to indulge in, trying whipping up these creamy Carb Killa® mousses! Awful puns aside, this recipe makes the perfect sweet treat to impress or, if you’re not too fussed about presentation, you could pack up the mousse for on-the-go - cos you can never have enough snacks, right?
First, whip up the double cream in a large mixing bowl with a hand whisk until it thickens and forms stiff peaks – to make sure it’s done, you could always give the ‘hold over your head’ test a go, but we’re not responsible for any spillages!
Next, add the icing sugar and further whisk
Add your Carb Killa® spread of choice, gently folding it into the mixture until no streaks remain
To finish, please your mousse into a desert glass and allow to set in the fridge for an hour before digging in!
If you used the Milk Chocolate Carb Killa® spread, you may want to add some raspberry coulis to your mousse for a sweeter finish – see recipe below. Or if you opted for our delicious White Chocolate spread, a sprinkle of almonds over the top of your mousse will add the perfect finish.
Start by adding all your ingredients to a pan and slowly heat until it comes to the boil
Turn off the heat and allow to cool before layering onto your mousse – simple!
